MCDANIEL, Lois Joan 88 resided at Hawthorn Glen, died Friday, March 25, 2016. Born to Bill and Charlotte (Dingley) Dyke on June 17, 1927 in Richmond, IN. Lois graduated from Boston High School and married the love of her life, June 23, 1945 Robert E. McDaniel married 69 years. She worked as a secretary for many years then for the Butler County Welfare Dept from 1967-74, counseled as a certified alcoholism counselor at Alcoholism Council of Butler County and assisted the Courts with sign language interpretation (ASL) retiring to start the Genealogical Society of Wayne county, IN and participate in many societies over the years including dulcimer, quilting, the women's auxiliary and the Daughters of the Revolutionary War. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2014, Robert McDaniel, one son, Patrick McDaniel, one half-brother James Dyke and one granddaughter Grace Gronvall. Lois is survived by her daughters, Kim (the late Jim) DeVine of Fairfield Twp., Lynne McDaniel of Dallas, TX, Karen (Gary) Gabbard of Hamilton and Lori (Fred) Gronvall of Liberty Twp., eleven grandchildren, Michelle (Keith) Noll, Yvonne (Mike) Lawson, Janae Truzack, John (Jen) Besanceney, Meghan Noland, Devon Noland, Mike Gallagher, Lizzy O'Connell, Colton Gabbard, Olivia Gronvall, Amelia Gronvall, Fourteen great-grandchildren and two first cousins, Stephanie Beach and Linda (Tom) Irmscher, niece of her half-brother James, Diane (Carl) Kelly, nephew, James (Esther) Dyke, Jr., niece Pat (Larry) Herron, and nephew Terry Dyke. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at RT. 4, Fairfield on Tuesday March 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM, with Rev.
