Louie Porter Landphair was born August 29, 1886, in Ringgold County, Iowa, and died Nov. 26, 1975, at Leon, Iowa at the age of 89 years, 2 months, and 27 days.

He was one of twelve children born to Elmer and Viola (Graham) Landphair. He was baptized in 1902 and was a member of the Riverview Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters and five brothers.

Surviving are sister, Daisy Turner of California; sister-in-law, Katie Landphair of Leon; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Services, under the direction of the Stewart-Duerr Funeral Home were held Nov. 29. Rev. Richard Gifford officiated. Interment was in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
