Simon W. Early 91, Dies Near Kralltown

Simon W. Early, 91, a retired farmer, died yesterday at 10:45 a.m. at his home, East Berlin RD 1, near here. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Maude M. Zirkle Early.

Mr. Early was bom in Broadway, Va., a son of the late Samuel and Sally Garber Early.

He had resided at this place the past 10 years, previously having lived in East Manchester township for 35 years. He was a member of Christ Lutheran church and Sunday school of Manchester.

Surviving are four children, C. Edward Early, 700 North Pershing avenue, York; W. Rudolph Early, at home; Mrs. Bess G Wilkinson, Portsmouth, Va., and Mrs. Wayne E. Hoffman, Dover RD 2; 17 grandchildren, 10 great grand chidren and a sister and brother, Mrs. Ruth Wise, Weyers Cave, Va., and Robert Early, ML Crawford, Va.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Zeigler Funeral home, Manchester. Officiating will be Mr. Earlys pastor, Rev. David E. Ebersde, and Rev. Dr. Harry L. Saul, Manchester, a former pastor. Interment will in Manchester Lutheran cemetery.
