Funeral services for Valerie Hearn Bozeman, 86, of Butler will be held Monday, Mar. 28, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the First Baptist Church of Butler with Rev. Jeremy Sorrells officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler City Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Ms. Bozeman passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at Hill Hospital in York, AL. She was retired from the State of Alabama.
Survivors include Jack Rolison, Jr. (Brenda) of Ripley, MS; Gary Rolison (Martha) of Ripley, MS; daughters Sue Cartee (Mike) of Leroy, AL; and Debbie Lewis (Mike) of Butler, AL; sister Ouida McNider of Sweetwater, AL; 13 grandchildren Ashley Roten, Trey Rolison, Gary Wayne Rolison, Tony Rolison, Amy Melton, Jessica Jeter, David Rolison, Gabe Cartee, Deidre Bankston, Jared Cartee, Josh Lewis, Will Lewis, and Katie Linder; 35 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred Hearn and Bessie Smith Hearn; and sisters Nadine Strickland and Freda Luker.
