ALLEN, Eleanor Gwendolyn - 86, Forest Glen, Yarmouth Co., passed away March 12, 2006, in Tidal View Manor, Yarmouth. Born in Forest Glen, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Rhoda (Mullen) Allen. She worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills Ltd. in Yarmouth for many years and was a homemaker for most of her working life. She is survived by sons, Earl (Shelley) Allen and Eric Allen, both of Forest Glen; brothers, Lloyd (Ora) Allen, Lake George; Donald Allen, Forest Glen; grandchildren, Tyler, Amy, Cara, Josh and Elizabeth, and great-grandson, Evan. She was predeceased by brothers, Albert, George, Fred, and Earl; sisters, Zella, Evelyn, and Edna. Visitation was held Friday, March 17, from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Graveside service was Saturday, March 18, at 2 p.m. in Forest Glen Cemetery, Rev. Donald Moses officiating. Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
