MARY E. VIANCO
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Vianco, 82, died in her home in Delphi, Tuesday evening. Mrs. Vianco had been confined to St. Elizabeth hospital for 16 weeks after suffering a fractured hip. She returned home just before Christmas and suffered a relapse.
Born here April 20, 1866, she was the daughter of William and Mary Ann (Roach) Scarff. She was married April 26, 1886, to Frank M. Vianco and had spent her entire life in this community where she was a member of St. Joseph's church and the Rosary and Alter Society.
Surviving are one son, William Vianco of Delphi; three daughters, Mrs. William Coomey, Delphi, Mrs Jack Norris, Kokomo, and Mrs Bruce Briggs, Gary; a sister, Mrs. Edward Winkler of Boyne City, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. A son John Vianco died three months ago.
Funeral rites will be conducted Friday morning from St. Joseph's church with the Rev. Father Francis Kienly officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. Friends may call at the Patrick Mortuary.
