Trudie Sikora passed away March 24, 2012, she had been battling cancer since December of last year.

The last 22 years of her life were spent in Phoenix, Arizona. Trudie felt very strongly that Arizona was her destiny.

She will be cremated and her ashes spread in an area of granite outcroppings that she loved and was inspired by. The ashes of her father, Art Mason, will be spread alongside of her.

Trudie was deeply loved by so many people here, back in Syracuse, and elsewhere.

She is survived by her husband Eugene Garcia, daughter Wendy Sikora, son-in-law Don Mitchell, grandchildren Christopher Sikora and Mykala Mitchell; sister Chris Stagg and brother Ron Mason; two nephews and four nieces.

The sympathy extended by her friends has been greatly appreciated by her family.

Memorial donations and gifts may be made to the Barrows Neurological Institute located in Phoenix, Arizona.
