Kevin Scott Gibson, 53 of Brownsburg and formerly of South Bend, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016. He was born March 12, 1963 in Indianapolis to Milton E. and Gloria J. (Birky) Gibson. Kevin graduated from Marian High School, completed his under graduate degree at Valparaiso University, and obtained his Masters from Indiana Wesleyan. He was currently working as a counselor for Raj Clinics in Indianapolis, Lafayette and Logansport. Kevin was a member of Kern Road Mennonite Church, South Bend and was attending Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg. His passion was mission work in Haiti, especially the care and education of the orphans in Haiti. Kevin is survived by his parents, Milton and Gloria Gibson of South Bend; brother, Bradley (Kathryn) Gibson of Zionsville; nephews, Jack and Samuel Gibson; grandmother, Evelyn Birky of Goshen; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by three grandparents.
