(1940-2000)
Christina Gail Duncan, 60, of Vanceburg (Ky.) Route 1, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1940, in Vanceburg, a daughter of the late Thomas Halbert Evans and Ida Belle Heater Evans. She was a member of the Church of God and an assembler at Nine West with 32 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Colin Edward Duncan, Nov. 23, 1989.
Surviving are three daughters, Lori Walsh of Tollesboro, Ky., Greta Wakeman of Frankfort, Ky., and Terri Caseman of Vanceburg Route 1; three brothers, T.W. "Grover" Evans of Vanceburg, Rick Evans of Camp Dix, Ky., and E.H. "Buck" Evans of Abbyville, S.C.; two sisters, Sue Lee and Jo Esham, both of Vanceburg; and one grandson.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg, with the Rev. Howard Wilson officiating, and interment in Black Oak Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
