Norma Fern McGuire, 84, of Spring Hill, Kan., passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016.
She was born Sept. 8, 1931, daughter of Roy and Gladys Miller Grogan. She and Roy McGuire were married Oct. 17, 1949, in Texas County.
She was a 1949 graduate of Cabool High School.
The family moved to Spring Hill, Kan., in 1965. She found her church home at Spring Hill Baptist Church, where she served as treasurer for many years.
Watching her boys play baseball while keeping score was one of her favorite pastimes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lloyd Grogan; and a sister, Dorothy "Nadine" Thompson.
Survivors include her husband, Roy McGuire; two sons, Andy McGuire of Biddeford, Maine, and Larry McGuire of Spring Hill, Kan.; a grandson; five granddaughters; two sisters, Margaret "Lorene" Hughes and Eva Fay Booker; and other family members.
Services were Tuesday, March 22, at Bruce Funeral Home in Spring Hill, Kan. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
