Sara Kay Montgomery, 24, of Willow Drive, Leipsic, Ohio passed 6:17 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born December 26, 1991 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Becky (Stulley) Shope and husband Paul and Gary Montgomery and wife Cindy. Surviving are her son, the father of her son, five brothers and sisters, a maternal grandmother, aunts and uncles, paternal grandparents of her son, as well as a host of cousins and friends. Sara was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ivan Neil "Pete" Stulley, paternal grandparents, Herman V. Montgomery and Nola (Gullett) Montgomery, brother, Paul Shope III, aunt, Bonnie Stulley and uncle, Donald Montgomery. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor David Stulley officiating. Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Boyer Funeral Home from noon until the time of service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Life Church of Christ in Christian Union, Richmondale, Ohio for the care and needs of her son, Hayes Allen Gibson.
