"Sudden death--On Sunday before last, in Potosi, the Coroner was called to hold an inquest upon the body of Mr. William Howdishell, who was found dead in his own house. He appeared to have fallen dead upon the floor while walking from his bed to the fire. Mr. H. was one of the oldest diggers in the mines; and while mining experienced often the extremes of fortune".
