Early Life: Renee was born July 20, 1919, in Wales, Utah, to Richard Lee and Grace Adalaide Nelson Spencer.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: Prior to her marriage, Renee was an airline stewardess with United Airlines and is a member of the Clipped Wings of Utah. On February 28, 1947, she married Lee Brewer in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on March 20, 1990. Renee was active in tennis and enjoyed playing each week. Her passion was the arts, reading, travel and good times with friends. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she involved herself in Relief Society and Primary. She worked for many years as a receptionist for Geneva Steel in Provo, Utah. She loved life, people and her special pet cats. Her favorite quote was by Sir John Marks Templeton: "We don't have too much time on this little planet of ours. We need to use the limited time to do those things that are fundamentally the most important in the long run." Renee Thressa Spencer Brewer passed away May 31, 1995, peacefully in her home of cancer.
Family Message: "The greatest mom and best friend we ever had. We will always love you!"
Survived By: Her two sons, Jeffery H. Brewer and Barry Lee Brewer, both of Salt Lake City; and her two sisters: Mrs. Dan (Geneve) Marks, Lompoc, California; and Mrs. Robert E. (Trudy) Nash, St. George, Utah.
Preceded In Death By: Her parents; two brothers and four sisters: Harold Spencer, R.L. Spencer, Bernice S. Packard, Lucile S. Shurtliff, Oris S. Merrill, and Kate S. Johnson.
