GLASGOW – Walter D. Thompson, 68, of Munfordville, died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at his home. The Hart County native was a son of the late Elzie and Opal Jaggers Thompson. He was a retired employee with the Kentucky State Highway Department and was a member of the Cub Run Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Faye Bratcher Thompson; a son, Bruce Thompson and wife, Kim, of Cub Run; a daughter, Kim Jones and husband, Jeff, of Munfordville; three grandchildren, Dillon Jones, Natalie and Hayden Thompson; a brother, Randall Thompson of Clarkson; two sisters, Pearl Trulock and Myrtle Logsdon both of Munfordville. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lema Reams and Arlene Downs and by six brothers, Herbert, Orley, Fred, Elzie Jr., Joe and Larry Thompson. Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Cub Run Baptist Church, with burial in the Cub Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Sunday at the Sego Funeral Home in Munfordville.
