Nels L. Moe, 81 years old and a native of Kirstiansand, Norway, died at a local hospital yesterday. A retired woodsman and millworker, Moe had lived in Eureka for the past 53 years. His home was at 2433 Fairfield Street.
Moe was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church and of Fram Lodge, Sons of Norway.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Sears, and three sons, Leif, Thor and Alfred Moe, all of Eureka; a brother, Ole Moe of San Leandro; two sisters, Mrs. Ildri Skrovseth and Mrs. Anna Reitmen, both of Norway; two grandchildren, Jans and Donald Sears of Eureka.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 at the Sanders Funeral Home with Rev. Otis A. Lee officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Elbert Hansen, Elmer Halsebo, Louis Hansen, John Swensen, Lars Thompson and Ole Jordfeld.
