Robert "Bob" James Berkebile of Waldorf, MD passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the age of 84.


He was born on September 18, 1931 in Hooversville, PA to Carrie (Lohr) and Gideon Berkebile.


Bob was veteran of the U. S. Air Force, retiring in 1982 after 30 years of service.


He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his family.


He was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins.


For over 57 years, Bob was the beloved husband of Wanda J. (Kessinger) Berkebile and loving father of Linda Fagan and her husband Howard Trotter, III, Valerie Stone and Bettye Zahn.


He is also survived by one sister, Marian Englert and numerous other family and friends.


Services will be held at the Old Post Chapel in Ft. Myer, VA followed by interment at Arlington National Cemetery. Time and date will be announced at a later date. Arrangements provided by Lee Funeral Home.
