Wyoma R. Alexander, 88, a resident of Chillicothe, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008 at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Mo.

She was born Nov. 8, 1921 in Torrento (sic), Wyo., the daughter of Samuel B. and Lucy M. (Crouch) Bowling. Wyoma graduated with honors from Hale High School, Hale, Mo., in 1939. She worked as a beauty operator for several years and was a member of Longblum Living Community since 1967.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Alexander; her brother, Sam Bowling and wife Betty, Chillicothe, Mo.; two grandsons, several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside service will be on Monday, Dec. 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Hale Cemetery, Hale, Mo. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008 at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo. Burial will be at the Hale Cemetery, Hale, Mo.

Memorial contributions may be made to Longblum Living Community and may be left at the funeral home or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.
