Olive Elouise (Bowling) Norris, 82, Chillicothe, Mo., formerly of Hale and Tina, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, at a Chillicothe hospital.

Born May 8, 1916, near Bosworth, Mo., in Carroll County, Mo., she lived in Tina before moving to Hale in 1978.

Mrs. Norris was a member of the Tina Baptist Church, where she was active in the Winsome Sunday school class.

On Dec. 8, 1947, she married Clifford F. Norris in Hale. He died in 1983.

Mrs. Norris was also preceded in death by her parents, Samuel B. and Lucy M. Bowling; three sisters, Georgia, Lucille and Nedra; and two brothers, Huel and Ralph.

Surviving: a son, Dale, Texarkana, Texas; a daughter, Margaret Childers, Chillicothe; a sister, Wyoma Alexander, Chillicothe; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services: Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Mo.
Burial: Hale Cemetery.
