Timothy “Chooch” Allen Turner, 47, of Sapulpa, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 6, 1968. Chooch was raised in the Moody and Salina area before moving.

He was a Dad, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa, Coach, and Friend to all who that knew him and those he met along the way. He loved his nieces and nephews dearly.

Chooch was an avid OU fan and loved to watch the Sooners play. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing, sports, and watching his nieces and nephews participate in sports. He enjoyed coaching and watching softball. He leaves behind many memories and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Chooch is survived by his wife, Sandra Turner of Salina; son, Dustin “Turner” Kingfisher of Salina; daughter, Bryn Turner of Salina; step sons, Justin Smith and wife Terri of Pryor, Eric Smith and wife Jennifer of Salina, Shane Smith of Salina and Cody Soldier and wife Shannon of Pryor; step daughter, Star Raper and husband John of Pryor; brothers, David Turner and wife Glenda of Colcord, Steven Turner and wife Tami of Tahlequah, Roy Turner, Jr and wife Karen of Tahlequah, Matthew Turner of Tahlequah and Lonnie Turner of Tahlequah; sisters, Lisa Foreman and husband Travis of Oaks, Sally Budder and husband Ricky of Kenwood, Maggie Jones and husband Ricky of Welling, Amanda Chuculate and husband Adam of Tahlequah, and Lana Nells and husband Lance of Moody; grandson, Aiden Bertrand; close family members, Mark and Melissa Loco, Robin Loco, Eddie Loco, and Kashyah Tehee; and dear friends, Teri Rolland, Chuck Luther, and Cristi Yargee.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Turner, Sr., sister, Tammy Wagnon, special granddaughter, Candice Pryor-Smith, and close family members, Dean and Sally White.

Funeral services ~ Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the Salina First Baptist Church with Reverend Ross Gourd and Buddy Ross officiating. Burial was in the Agent Cemetery in Moody. Arrangements are under the direction of Shipman’s Funeral & Cremation Service.
