DEXTER - A funeral for Robert Rawson Neal, 56, of rural Dexter was held May 26, 1985 at the Dexter Presbyterian Church. Mr. Neal died of a heart attack May 24.
Burial was in the Dexter Cemetery.
Born at Dexter on Oct. 15, 1928, he was the son of Maurice and Zedonna Rawson Neal. He graduated from Dexter High School.
He was married to Donnabelle Sandusky in January 1949, when he began a farming career that continued throughout his life. He was a member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Donnabelle of Dexter; two sons, Steven of St. Charles and Gregg of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Barbara Kallbach of Stuart and Jean Scott of Des Moines; three brothers, James of Kokesville, Va., Richard of Des Moines and Craig of Orient; a sister, Emily Sulgrove of Dexter; and nine grandchildren.
