SHANNON BECK FUNERAL MONDAY
Services for Shannon Beck, 78, of the Oxford Hotel, 106 Fourth St., will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Evan Lilly Funeral Home, with burial in Woodland Cemetery.
Mr. Beck was dead on arrival Friday at Broadlawns General Hospital. Death was caused by a coronary occlusion.
Born in Grand Riiver [Iowa] , he had lived in Des Moines 50 years. He was a retired hotel operator. Surviving are one daughter, Cheryl of Des Moines; four sons, Lt. Lee Beck, serving with the armed forces in Korea, and Fred, Robert and Jack Beck all of Des Moines; and one brother George of Des Moines------------------------
