Edward E. Harvey, 86, of Chattanooga, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 13, 2016.
He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and was a 60+ year member of IBEW Local 175 who proudly served in every capacity, including Bus. Mgr./Fin. Sec and IBEW International Representative. He was also a Veteran, serving his country in the United States Marine Corp.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years Billie J. Harvey and their son, Jason M. Harvey, Pasadena, TX; his sons, Dennis (Gingi) Harvey, Steve Harvey and Eddie Harvey; one daughter, Sheree (Roger) Constant; brother, Bruce (Margaret) Harvey of Murfreesboro, TN
He was preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Mary Harvey; daughter, Karen Lea; brothers Howard, Max, Carl, and Mark Harvey; sister, Beatrice Rogers.
The family request memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Jack Reiss and Gary Watkins officiating. Interment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
