The death of Mrs. Sarah Hannum occurred yesterday at noon at her home in Delphi. Deceased was born 83 years ago and was the wife of Major J. C. Hannum. Death was caused by the infirmities of age. She was one of the pioneer settlers of Delphi and was quite well known in this city. She was a woman of pure character and was admired by all who knew her. Two children survive, Mrs. B. F. Ridge, of this city, and J. B. Hannum of Chicago. The funeral will be conducted to-morrow afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment will be made in the Masonic cemetery at Delphi.
