Lloyd Louis Corbin, son of the late Charles Edward and Elizabeth Margaret (Deeg) Corbin, was born September 8, 1930, in Major County, Oklahoma, and passed away September 16, 2006, at his home in Cherokee, at the age of 76 years and 9 days.
Lloyd attended Twin Oakes School and graduated from Waynoka High School with the Class of 1949. He served in the United States Marine Corps. On December 3, 1958, he was united in marriage to Fannie Marie Goeken at the Alva First Christian Church.
Lloyd farmed in the Ingersoll area then moved to the Aline. After the death of his wife, he lived there a short time and then moved to Cherokee.
Lloyd was a member of the Cherokee Friends Church where he was greeter every Sunday morning. Lloyd was always cheerful and had a big smile. He liked to play dominoes.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie, and one sister, Dorothy Friend.
Lloyd is survived by two brothers, Edward Corbin and his wife, Patsy, of Enid and Robert Corbin and his wife, Linda, of Helena; one sister, Beulah Lehl and her husband, Carl, of Alva; other relatives and many friends.
