Nancy Amanda "Mandy" Denny was the daughter of Walter W. & Sarah Mariah Vineyard Denny, she married Isaiah W. Webb, Oct 1, 1837, Madison Co., IL
THE BEAVER HERALD (BEAVER, OK)-February 13, 1902
Mrs. Amanda WEBB, wife of I. W. WEBB, living seven miles south of Beaver; died at her home Thursday, February, 6th, 1902, of la grippe and heart failure. During the last hours of her sickness she sank rapidly, and when the end came was surrounded by relatives and friends.
The deceased had been sick for the past four years, sometimes able to be about but never regaining health. About three months ago she was taken worse again and from which she never recovered in spite of careful nursing and skillful medical treatment.
Mrs. Amanda WEBB was born in Madison county, Illinois, November 9, 1822. Her maiden name was Miss Amanda DENNY. In this state she received her education, married I. W. WEBB and lived the greater portion of her life until she removed to Beaver county with her family in 1883 where they have since resided.
The deceased leaves to mourn her departure a husband and eight children three sons and five daughters.
Mrs. WEBB was a woman of excellent qualities and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. As a wife and mother she was kind and faithful. She realized her greatest joy when doing for others. She united early in life with the Methodist Episcopal church and has since been a devoted worker.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Bagsley at the Presbyterian church, Saturday at 12 o'clock, noon, and interment was made in the Beaver cemetery.
The old gray-haired husband, who is over come with grief, and the children of the deceased have the sympathy of the community.
