Aderine Sara Sowell, 99, of Fayetteville, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on August 21, 2015.
Mrs. Sowell was an active member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church and always giving of herself to family and friends. She will be loved and missed by all. Mrs. Sowell was also an avid quilter.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Tegtman of Fayetteville, Charlotte Sowell of Fayetteville, Elizabeth Drummond, Plant City, FL, Brenda McVadon of Rome, GA; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her faithful canine companions.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 24, 2015, at the Overton Chapel of Fayetteville First Baptist Church, with Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church.
