Alvinia Chilton, age 69, of Ryan Drive, Randleman died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, Winston Salem, NC.

Mrs. Chilton was born January 15, 1936 the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary Elizabeth (Carter) Chilton.

Ms. Chilton was a native of Rockingham County and retired from Eveready Battery. She was a member of Bible Truth Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Maria Maness of Randleman, NC and Eileen McPherson of Randleman, NC; one son: Jonathan Dwight Henderson of Asheboro, NC; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; three brothers: Jessie Chilton, Wayne Chilton and Garland Chilton all of Reidsville; six sisters: Doris Billingsley, Vivian Denny, Colean Shropshire, Mary Smith, Josephine Ward and Cleo Lawson all of Reidsville.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 26, 2005 from Noon-1:30PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.

The funeral will be Saturday, November 26, 2005, 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Pastor Jeff Harmon officiating.

Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.

Memorials may be made to Bible Truth Baptist Church, 2915 Kameron Street, P.O. Box 96, Randleman, NC 27317.
