Edna Mae Fox, 89, a resident of the Bucktail Medical Center extended care unit died Monday, Feb. 9, 1998 at the center. She was born Feb. 25, 1908 in North Bend, the daughter of William and Clara Tyson Probst. A devoted homemaker, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Seventh Street, Renovo.
On Oct. 9, 1926, she married Frank E. Fox, Sr., at the First United Methodist Church by the Rev. George F. Boggs. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1970.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Frank E. Fox, Jr., on Oct. 13, 1997; a granddaughter, Diann Fox, on Oct. 11, 1972; and eight brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a son, Earl W. Fox of Williamsport, a daughter, Edna Saxton of Berwick, a brother, Lewis Probst of Lock Haven; two sisters, Teresa Lupro of McSherrystown, and Amanda Little of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday in the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, for Edna Mae Fox, 89, of the Bucktail Medical Center, who died Monday, Feb. 9, 1998 at the center. The Rev. Eugene Cloer will officiate and Interment will be in North Bend Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Maxwell Funeral Home, Renovo.
