Mrs. Bobbie Jean Manders Day, 72, of Winder, died Friday, May 10, 2002, at Barrow Community Hospital.
Born in Barrow County, Mrs. Day was a daughter of the late Clarence and Rozie Bentley Ensley.
She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, in Smith Memory Chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with the Revs. Chris Yancey and Clarence Ensley Jr. officiating. Burial was in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Manders is survived by her husband, Jimmy Day, Winder; son and daughter-in-law, Hal and Pam McElhannon, Winder; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Jean and Ronnie Goodson, Winder; step-children, Sherry Graham, Elaine Anderson and Dale McDaniel, all of Winder; brothers, Clarence Ensley Jr., Atlanta, Willard Ensley, Forest Park, Douglas Ensley and Gerald Ensley, both of Baltimore, Md., and Jimmy Ensley, Clemson, S.C.; grandchildren, Chuck and Michelle McBrayer, Chris and Justin McElhannon, Chris and Nicole Hatcher and Olivia Skinner; great-grandchild, Erica McBrayer; 10 step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
