Joyce Irene Stubbs Koch, 77, passed away on March 10th after a long illness. Born in Dayton, OH on September 30, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Dale and Irene (Crabill) Stubbs.Joyce graduated from Monroe Twp. High School, Pickaway County, and Ohio University and was a teacher in the Chillicothe City Schools. She enjoyed being a homemaker, reading, sewing and needlework. She was also a member of the Good Shepherd Anglican Church in Chillicothe. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Koch. She is survived by her son of Centerville; two grandsons of Chillicothe; two granddaughters of Centerville; and seven great-grandchildren;. She is also survived by her brother of Circleville; her sister of Rotterdam, NY; and niece and nephew of Glenville, NY; and a nephew of Broken Arrow, OK. She also leaves behind the friends she made during her lifetime. Graveside Service 12 noon Monday March 14, 2016 at St Margaret's Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio. The Reverend Richard B. Terry officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a contribution to the Ross County Humane Society.
