Geraldine R. Pavlik, of New Alexandria, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born in Latrobe, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Josephine (DeBone) Sarp. Geraldine was a member of St. Martin Church in New Derry. She had been employed at Holzer's Deli Depot and worked at the BPO Elks No. 907 and the former Cap Works. She was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed cooking and playing bingo. Besides her parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew G. Pavlik; two brothers, Frank and Joseph Sarp; and six sisters, Christina Patrick, Lena Hancock, Anita Miller, Pauline Gower, Agnes Kozubal and Jean DiMartino. She is survived by three sons, Andrew G. Pavlik and his wife, Sandy, of New Alexandria, Paul J. Pavlik, of Pittsburgh, and Alan J. Pavlik and his wife, Lisa, of Latrobe; eight grandchildren, Randy Pavlik, of Indiana, Kari Morgan and her husband, Josh, of Sioux Falls, S.D., Mark Pavlik and his wife, Danielle, of Latrobe, Rachael Pavlik and her friend, Mike, of Delmont, Robert Pavlik, of Derry, Christopher Pavlik and his friend, Lindsay, of Latrobe, Justin Pavlik and his wife, Kylie, of Latrobe, and Timothy Pavlik and his friend, Carly, of Latrobe; four great-grandchildren, Judah, Esme, Noah and Lucas; one sister, Josephine Vadas, of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the JOHN J. LOPATICH FUENRAL HOME INC., 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin Church, New Derry. Interment will follow at St. Martin Cemetery.
