Mrs. Martha Christina Salverson (sic), one of the older residents of the city, died at the family home 408 Chicago street Sunday, death resulting from age, the decedant having reached the advanced age of 78 years. Mrs. Salverson had been seriously ill only a few days and her death was unexpected and a shock to family and friends. She was a native of Norway and had lived here for a long time. A husband, Andrew and three children, Martin, Henry and Mary, survive. Mrs. Salverson was a member of the First Norwegian church. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 from the late home.
