Henry Solverson (sic), 68, of 505 State street, a painting contractor in
Manitowoc for many years, died last night at the Holy Family hospital. He had
been in failing health since early last year and was moved to the hospital
August 4.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Frazier mortuary.
The Rev. D. G. Ristad of the First Lutheran church will officiate. Burial will
be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Solverson, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Solverson, was born in
this city in 1869 and always resided here. After completing his course in the
common schools, he took up the painting trade. For years he, with his brother,
Martin, engaged in the house painting and decorating business in a partnership.
On the death of Martin, Henry continued the business alone.
Survivors are a sister, Miss Mary Solverson, who made her home with her brother,
and several cousins.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Friday noon until the hour of
services Saturday.
