BASSETT, BERTHA LEE GRIFFIN - Bertha Lee Griffin Bassett, age 89 of Loganville, formerly of Doraville, died Monday, September 11, 2006. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 14, 2006 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne S. Sosebee will officiate. Burial North Atlanta Memorial Park, Doraville. A homemaker, Mrs. Bassett, was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Clarence W. Bassett, Sr. and many brothers & sisters. She is survived by: Children: Randal Lamont Bassett, Loganville; Clarence W. "Brother" & Arlene Bassett, Jr., Monroe; Wanda Bassett & Marvin Morris, Loganville; Granddaughters: Amy Bassett & Danny McLeod, Conyers; Kristi & Stephanie Morris, Loganville; Great Granddaughters: Erin & Kerra McLeod, Conyers; Sister & Brother-in-law: Dorothy & Alvah Hammock, Molena. Family will receive friends from 2-9 PM, Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052.
