Swedish prince. Born at Ulriksdal Palace, then called Jakobsdal, his name was spelled Ulrik in Swedish. He belonged to the Wittelsbach Dynasty as the He was the fourth child and third son of King Carl XI and Queen Ulrica Eleanor and died almost one year old. The much admired and historically prominent Ulriksdal Palace in Solna north of Stockholm was named for him, and this has made Prince Ulric widely known, notwithstanding his short life span.
