Gail Bryant age 66 of Henagar died Sunday, May 31 in Morganton, NC. Graveside services are Wednesday at 1 pm ct at Chestnut Grove Cemetery with Bro. Steve Lea officiating. In-lieu-of flowers the family request contributions be made to St Jude Children's Reserch Hospital in her memory.
Survivors include husband, Troy Bryant, daughters, Wendy Smith (Clint), Kristie Stephens (Myron), grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Isabella Smith, Kaleb Stephens, Kila Stephens, Kierra Stephens and Kamden Stephens, sisters, Odia Kay Stone (G B), Carolyn Blansit, Teresa Durham (Ricky), brother, Gary Smith (Jill), several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Mrs. Bryant was a graduate of Ider High School, a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church and had retired from Ider School after 30 years as a Secretary.
She was preceded in death by her father, Odis Smith and mother, Gladys Tucker Smith Thompson.
