Elizabeth W. Humphries, 77, of Merritt Island, Fla., formerly of Fredericksburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at her home.
Preceded in death by her husband, James "Tootsie" Humphries, she is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Donna and Ron Gagne of Powhatan, Gail and Frank Beachem of Manassas and Kristie and Ken Davis of Merritt Island, Fla.; a sister, Helen Lawson; three brothers, Julian White, Nelson White and Ernest White; a granddaughter and her husband, Toni and Norm Curl of Magnolia, Texas; a great-grandaughter, Sydnei; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Spotsylvania Chapel, followed by burial in Waller's Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Waller's Baptist Church, 3600 Partlow Road, Partlow, Va. 22534.
