She worked at the J.J. Newberry Store for over 20 years. During WWII, she was employed at the Ox Fibre Brush Company. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality.
Surviving are four sons, John F. Kennedy, Joseph S. Kennedy, Robert E. Kennedy, William A. Kennedy, Frederick; one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Best, Knoxville; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at St. John's Catholic Church; interment was in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
