Mrs. ANNA POOLE KENNEDY, widow of Frank E. Kennedy, died at the Frederick Nursing Center this morning. Born in Frederick, on May 4, 1889, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn Poole Conrad.

She worked at the J.J. Newberry Store for over 20 years. During WWII, she was employed at the Ox Fibre Brush Company. She was a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church and the Blessed Virgin Sodality.

Surviving are four sons, John F. Kennedy, Joseph S. Kennedy, Robert E. Kennedy, William A. Kennedy, Frederick; one daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Best, Knoxville; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.

A Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated at St. John's Catholic Church; interment was in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
