"Mrs. N. S. Potter, aged 55 died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles McMartin of South Perry street at 6 a. m. Monday. Mrs. Potter has been suffering for five or six months with organic trouble, which finally caused her death. The deceased was born in Schoharie county, removing to this city about thirteen years ago. As a resident of Johnstown she soon gained the respect and friendship of a large circle of associates, who are deeply grieved to learn of her death. The deceased is survived by her husband N. S. Potter, one daughter, Mrs. Charles McMartin, four brothers, Elmer Ostrander and Addison Ostrander of Jackson, Mich.; Melvin Ostrander of Sloansville; and Wellington Ostrander of Carlisle. The funeral service was held at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the home of the deceased's daughter, Mrs. Charles McMartin of South Perry street. Rev. Charles McKenzie will officiate at the service. The remains will be taken to Sloansville, where interment will be made Wednesday."
