P.O. Reynolds stands for Pallace Othello. It is listed in various records as Palace Othello Reynolds, Otha, Other Reynolds or P.O. Reynolds.

Pallace Othello Reynolds was the son of William Justice Reynolds born Feb 1853 in Medina, Gibson Co., Tennessee, and Emma Alice McFarland born November 1858 Tennesse. He married 1 July 1906 in McLennan Co., Texas, Lela Everette Crook born April 1882 in Lorena or Hewitt, McLennan Co., Texas. They had three sons.

We believe they also had a daughter who died young, born probably around 1910-1911, and we have a photo of a young girl in our family records, but we don't have any information on her, where she is buried, or when she was born and died.

P.O. Reynolds served with the Tennessee Volunteers during the Spanish-American War. He was a telegrapher with Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railroad (Katy). He & Lela were married in Hewitt, Texas. Each of their three sons was born in a different town in Texas, along the Katy RR route. Everett Crook Reynolds was born in Mart, Wilton in Addicks, near Houston, and John near Hewitt.

You can find him on census records:
1880 - 1st District, Gibson Co., Tennessee (under "Other")
1900 - Mart, McLennan Co., Texas (under "Other")
1910 - Precinct 8, Harris Co., TX (under "Pallace O")
1920 - Dewey Township, Washington Co., Oklahoma (under "TO")
1930 - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK (under "Pallas O")
