She was born in Dwight, Ill., on Aug. 3, 1879. She came to Quartzburg in the early 1880's with her parents, Phillip and Fredericka Zimmer. She was married in 1897 to Colbin Gunderson and lived in the Horseshoe Bend area until Mr. Gunderson's death in 1919, after which she lived in Boise, Lewiston and Caldwell.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Martha Paul, Montour; Mrs. Elsie Rowland, Middleton; Mrs. Ollie Grindstaff, Caldwell, and Mrs. Lena Belwal, Yakima, Wash.; Two sons, Philip Gunderson, Hazelton and Oscar Gunderson, Boise; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
