Bobby E. McCoy age 81 of Hamilton passed away Thursday March 3, 2016 in his home. He was born June 4, 1934 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late Grover and Catherine (Gatewood) McCoy. On December 26, 1953 in Richmond, Indiana he married Hazel Tirey. Mr. McCoy worked as an assembler at Mosler Safe Company in Hamilton for over 34 years, retiring in 1993. He is survived by his wife Hazel McCoy; his eleven children, Teresa (Russell) Doyle, Bobby (Linda) McCoy, Dean (Lenora) McCoy, Carol (Kenneth) Stivers, Tim (Shawna) McCoy, Rev. Darryl (Denise) McCoy, Linda (Bobby) Duncan, Charlene (Chris) Perkins, Charlotte (fiancé Shaun Singleton) McCoy, Gail (Randall) Sorber, and Dale McCoy; twenty nine grandchildren; thirty three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, and one sister Carol Minor. Mr. McCoy was also preceded in death by two sisters Margaret Parsley and Mary Smith, and one brother Joe McCoy. Visitation for Mr. McCoy will be at the Fairfield Church of God, 6001 Dixie Highway, Fairfield on Monday March 7, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with his son Pastor Darryl McCoy, officiating.
