Obituary: Sterling - Annabelle Elliott, 103, died Jan. 3, 2000, at Sterling Presbyterian Manor.
She was born Nov. 27, 1896, at Sterling, the daughter of John W. and Mary E. Smith Darnell. A lifetime Sterling resident she was a homemaker.
She belonged to United Presbyterian Church, Sterling.
On Oct. 27, 1917, she married Forest McKinley "Kin" Elliott at Lyons. He died Nov 1, 1967.
Survivors include a daughter, Vera Finnin, Lyons.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank, and John William 'J.W.' Darnell, Jr.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday at Sillin Funeral Home, Sterling, with D.D. Hall officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sterling Community Cemetery.
