CROWTHERS, Jane H. Age 86, of Hamilton, passed away April 8, 2012 at 12:39 A.M. at Huntington Court in Hamilton. Jane was born June 20, 1925 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Howard and Emma (McCool) Higgins. She was a graduate of Norwood High School and attended Miami University. On September 15, 1946, she married Edward L. Crowthers in Norwood. Jane was a member of Redeemer Church, a member of the Go-Getters Club of the church, started the Quilting Club at the church and sang in the choir for over 25 years.
She is survived by her husband, Edward, two sons, John H. Crowthers (Wilma) and Mark E. Crowthers (Cris); her twin brother, Jim Higgins, Cincinnati, brother Jerry Higgins (Eileen) of Florida; eight grandchildren, Robby, Toby, Justin, Christopher and Kyle Crowthers and Heather Frechtling (Jeff) , Kyle and Eric Malone and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Redeemer Church, 3431 Hamilton-Middletown Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011 with Pastor Kim Katterheinrich officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the church from 9:30A.M. Wednesday until the time of the services.
