AARON BOLYARD DIES; SERVICES THURSDAY -- Aaron W. Bolyard, 53, of Route 1, Vandalia, died in Fayette County Hospital at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 29.
He was born October 25, 1916 at Vandalia, the son of Isaac and Elizabeth Carter Bolyard. He was married December 1, 1933 at Vandalia to Nelsene Beck who survives.
In addition to his wife, Nelsene, he leaves three daughters, Mrs Alta Washburn of Vandalia; Mrs Sandra Bruso of Decatur; sons Dale of Vandalia and Grayland Decatur; sisters Mrs. Flossie Snow and Mrs. Mary Barbee, both of Pekin; brothers, Lloyd of Decatur; Archie and Nelson, both of Vandalia; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Beery and Hohlt Funeral Home with the Rev. LeRoy Smith of Vandalia officiating. Interment will be in Griffith Cemetery near Brownstown.
