Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather passed away peacefully at the age of (95) at his home in Woods Cross.
He was born February 9, 1921 in Woods Cross, Utah to William H. and Clara A. Argyle, he was the youngest of 5 children. He was the last remaining member of his family.
He fell in love with his high school sweetheart, Lucille Smith of Clearfield, Utah and they were married June 17, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple for time and all eternity.
They were the proud parents of five children: Brent (Judy), Dennis, Jerry (Janice), Shiree, Joan.
Dad is survived by his 5 children, 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille, mother and father, 2 sisters, Alice and Melva, 3 brothers, Floyd, Hazen and Frank, 2 daughters-in-law, Michelle and Judy.
Dad was a lifelong active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, faithfully serving in many positions including Bishop of his ward. He served many years in both the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples. He also proudly served in his community as a City Councilman and Mayor of Woods Cross City, Utah.
