Melva Argyle Park died peacefully on April 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Melva was born on April 19, 1918 to William Holroyd Argyle and Clara Atkinson Argyle in Woods Cross, Utah. She spent most of her childhood growing up on a farm in Woods Cross.

On April 30, 1937 she married Alma Park in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved to Bountiful, Utah where they made their home for the next sixty years. Melva held many jobs in the LDS Church: Primary President, Primary Chorister, Young Women’s President and many more jobs. She was a cook for the Davis County Schools for over 20 years.

She loved her flower gardens, and worked in them all summer long. She was given a plaque for the Bountiful Beautification award for the most beautiful yard by the Mayor of Bountiful.

Melva had four daughters, Shirlene (Deon) Stevens, Karen (Ron) Hill, Joyce (Alex) Lefranc, Louise deceased (Earl) Miles. She had 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alma Park, daughter Louise Mills, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
