Mr. Anthony “Tony” Jung of Fredericksburg passed away on Thursday March 3rd in the Sid Peterson Regional Medical Center at the age of 73 years.
Tony was born January 18, 1943 in Fredericksburg to Benno Henry and Gertrude Kunz Jung.
Tony married Sandra Gebo on May 15, 1985.
Tony graduated from St. Mary’s High School
Tony is survived by his children and their spouses: Michael Jung of Austin
Nicole and Tyrone Pruitt of Boerne
Step children: Jimmy and Betty Ray of Midland, Missy Ray and Angela Ray of Fredericksburg, Charlotte Ray of Georgia
Three grandchildren and six step grandchildren
Brothers and sisters and their spouses: Alice and Werner Schumpelt of Harper
Vincent and Maureen Jung of Colorado

Along with his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife Sandra.
His body will lie in state in the Schaetter Funeral Home until 9:45 a.m. on Monday March 7th with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Loving Care of St. Mary’s, or to the charity of one’s choice.
