CARPENTER LOSES WIFE
Members of the Carpenter's union are extending their sympathy to W.E. Smith, the well-known member of the union whose wife died at noon yesterday.
Mrs. Jessie A. Smith was 29 years of age. She leaves four children, the youngest of which is but four weeks old. She died at her home, E 34190 Ninth Ave.
The funeral will be held from Buchanan's undertaking parlors at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Smith has been a member of the union since 1902.
