STOUT, Edward C. "Butch" Age 58, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. at Kettering Medical Center where he had been a patient for 26 days. He was born March 29, 1946 in Middletown and lived here all his life. At one time he was employed at Sorg Paper Company but had been ill for some time. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #528 and the Loyal Order of Moose #501. He was a member of the Elizabethtown First Church Of God. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Stout in 1969; his brother, Carl Stout, his uncle, Elmer Stout; paternal grandparents, Carl C. Stout and Nannie Stout; and maternal grandparents, Coy Henderson and Viola (Housewright) Henderson. He is survived by his beloved children: one daughter, Kelly Stout (Charlie) Harper of Liberty Township; one son, Scott Edward Stout, of Monroe; seven grandchildren, Matthew Miller, Hailey and Taylor Harper, Erika, Kyle, Morgan and Hannah Stout; his mother Ava N. Henderson Colwell of Middletown, Ohio; a sister, Ruth Daniel, Middletown, Ohio; five half-sisters, Cindy Brandenburg, of Middletown, Ohio, Kathy Kristian of San Diego, California, Brenda Trimble, Donna Gould and Cindy Grimes, all of Flint, Michigan; a half-brother, Art Smith, of Flint Michigan; two uncles, Gene Stout, of Camden, Ohio, and Don Stout, of Flint, Michigan; four aunts, Esther Bentz, Kathryn Lehman, Marilyn Byrd and Pauline Denney, all of Middletown, Ohio; special friends, Cecille Brock and Richard Kinney, both of Middletown, Ohio. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 23, 2004 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Gary Ashley officiating. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio.
